Sergio Hernadez Tolentino

Dominican Designer. He was born on June 16, 1985 in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. His parents, Sergio Hernández and Marcia Tolentino. Sergio comes from a humble background. Raised by a single mother, he is the eldest of six. During his adolescence, he enjoyed playing baseball. He was a great prospect for a pitcher for the Oakland Athletics. Although fashion is his life vocation, this sport was his first passion. At age 16, he stopped playing baseball because of an injury in his right arm and began developing his interest in the fashion world. A year later the moved with his mother and siblings to the city of San Cristobal, where he finished high school at the Max Enrique Ureña School where he was always an excellent student. In 2011 he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Arts from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, UASD. In 2013 he moved to New York City.
